President conveys his condolences to the President of India

 President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has conveyed his condolences to President Shri Pranab Mukherjee, on the passing away of the First Lady Smt. Suvra Muherjee of India.

The President’s message reads as follows:‎

“I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing away of your beloved wife, First Lady Smt. Suvra Mukherjee.”

“At this time of national mourning, the Government and the people of ‎the Maldives and I personally join you, the Government and neighbourly people ‎of India, in mourning the demise of Madam Suvra Mukherjee. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time.”
