Chairman of the Olympic Solidarity, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahd Al-Sabah has paid a courtesy call on President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom. The meeting was held on Tuesday afternoon at the President’s Office.
Discussions at the meeting were held on the endeavors undertaken by the Olympic Solidarity for its member countries. In this regard, the Chairman noted that the organization has provided 35 sports scholarships for the Maldives so far, with 8 more to be awarded this year.
President Yameen was joined at the call by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mohamed Maleeh Jamal.
