President Nasheed has met with Mr Jawad Mottaghi, Director of Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development. The meeting was held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, the President discussed with Mr Mottaghi on ways of seeking assistance from the AIBD. He also said that his administration was committed to promote and strengthen a free and fair media in the Maldives.
Mr Mottaghi noted that President Nasheed had also been an experienced journalist and invited the President to share his expertise in the Asia Media Summit which is to be held this year.
