President ratifies Four Bills passed by the Parliament

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has on Monday, ratified the First Amendment to the “Banking Act of Maldives” (Act No. 24/2010), the ‎Fourth Amendment to the “Land Act of Maldives” (Act No. 1/2002), ‎the “Extradition Act” (Act No. 1/2015), and the “Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Act” (Act No. 2/2015).

The Bills were passed by the Parliament at the 29th sitting of its third session, on 25th December 2014. The Acts have been published in the Government Gazette following ratification.
