The Cabinet, in a meeting held today, approved its code of conduct.

The approval came after Cabinet deliberations on a paper with inputs from members of the Cabinet.

The rules of procedure include provisions on Cabinet’s main characteristics, executing ministerial responsibilities, accountability to the President, dealing with issues of conflict of interest, participation in organisations and societies, and delegation of Cabinet functions.

On 3 August, the Cabinet approved relevant clauses for engaging with the People’s Majlis.

At today’s meeting, the Cabinet also discussed on implementing the Disability Act.
