The President extends his appreciation to the Maldivian business community for their contributions towards the ‘Male’ Water Crisis Management Fund’

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has extended his appreciation to the Maldivian business community for their contributions towards the ‘Male’ Water Crisis Management Fund’.

In this regard, the President highlighted the contributions of Mr. Mohamed Moosa (N.M.I.V) and Mr. Mohamed Umar (N.M.I.V), who each donated 100, 000 US Dollars to the Fund. President Yameen also underscored that Mr. Mohamed Moosa (N.M.I.V) had extended an interest-free loan of 75 million Rufiyaa to the Government towards the provision of vital services during the water crisis. On behalf of the Government and the Maldivian people, President Yameen expressed his heartfelt gratitude to these individuals for their generous assistance.

The President also extended his appreciation to other independent groups and individuals for their assistance during this difficult time.
