President to speak on the significance of the Maldives taking its seat at the UN Human Rights Council

In this week’s radio address, President Mohamed Nasheed will speak on the significance of the historic occasion of the Maldives taking its seat at the United Nations Human Rights Council. The Maldives will start its first session as a member of UN Human Rights Council on 13 September.

The President will also speak on Eid-ul-Fitr that will be observed tomorrow.
