President Mohamed Nasheed has sent condolences to British Prime Minister David Cameron following the passing away of his father Mr Ian Cameron.
In a letter to Prime Minister Cameron, President Nasheed said he was saddened to learn about the sudden death of the Prime Minister’s beloved father. He also offered his sincere condolences to Prime Minister Cameron and his family.
Ian Cameron passed away yesterday at a French hospital while receiving treatment after he suffered a stroke. He was 77.
Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed also sent condolences to Prime Minister David Cameron upon hearing the sad news.
