President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has on Sunday afternoon, met with a group of potential investors for key developmental projects of the Government of Maldives.
Discussions at the meeting were focused on the investment opportunities available in the Maldives, and the mega development projects of the Government.
In this regard, the President briefed the Chinese business leaders on the Government’s plans to construct a bridge between Male' and Hulhule’, and develop a Hulhumale as a youth city. The President also shared about the iHaven transshipment port project, and the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport development project.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Dunya Maumoon, Minister at the President’s Office, Hon. Mohamed Hussain Shareef, Minister of Tourism, Hon. Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Ghafoor, Minister of Economic Development, Hon. Mohamed Saeed, and Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mohamed Maleeh Jamal.
