As per Article 129 of the Constitution, President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has submitted Dr. Mariyam Shakeela’s name as Minister of Health, for approval by the People’s Majlis.
Dr. Mariyam Shakeela was appointed by the President as the Minister of Health on 1 July 2014.
