Upper North Utilities Limited (UNUL) has signed a collaboration agreement with Merciel International of the United States to provide utilities services to all the islands of Upper North Province.
At a ceremony held at Dharubaaruge last evening, Managing Director Mr Abdulla Waheed signed the agreement on behalf of UNUL, while Chief Executive Officer Mr Bradley Smegal signed the agreement on behalf of Merciel International.
President Mohamed Nasheed also attended the agreement signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, UNUL in collaboration with Merciel International will provide electricity, water, sewerage services and gas to all the islands of Upper North Province.
