President Mohamed Nasheed has extended greetings to the people of Maldives on the auspicious occasion of the commencement of the Holy month of Ramadan.
President’s message on the occasion of Ramadan said Ramadan was an occasion to renew family ties and brotherly relations among Muslims.
In the message, the President highlighted the importance of putting aside the divisions and disagreements among us, and working for the benefit of the country.
He reiterated his commitment to strengthen stability and ensure justice.
The President also sent Ramadan greetings to the leaders of Islamic countries and to the Heads of Islamic Organisations. The President has also been receiving greetings from them.
