President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Sushil Koirala on his election as the Prime Minister of Nepal.
The President’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and on my own behalf, may I extend to you, Mr. Prime Minister, my sincere good wishes and congratulations on your election as the new Prime Minister of Nepal.”
“We are delighted that Nepal is entering a new era under your leadership, both nationally and internationally, and I hope that the people of Nepal will achieve greater success and prosperity under your able direction. I remain confident that the existing brotherly relations between our two countries too will be further strengthened and diversified in the years ahead.”
“Please accept, Mr. Prime Minister, my best wishes for your good health and wellbeing and the assurances of my highest consideration.”
