The Maldives Government has decided to temporarily suspend the implementation of the new salary framework for doctors. The Government’s decision was publicized in a directive issued by the President’s Office today.
The directive states that it has come to the attention of the President, the number of concerns being raised by doctors and other medical personnel regarding the new framework.
It also says that the issues raised were being looked in to, and that it was now being revised and deliberated among all relevant authorities.
