Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Mr. Wencai Zhang has paid a courtesy call on Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed this morning.
At the meeting held at the President’s Office, Vice President Jameel and Mr. Zhang exchanged views on the ADB projects being planned, and those currently underway in the Maldives.
Highlighting the good relations Maldives has established with the ADB, Vice President Jameel expressed his gratitude to the organization for their involvement in the various developmental programmes of the Maldives.
The Vice President of the ADB said that the organization prioritizes its ventures based on each country’s developmental status. He further assured Vice President Jameel that the ADB was putting in every effort to complete the current projects quickly.
Vice President Jameel was joined at the call by Minister of Finance and Treasury, Hon. Abdulla Jihad, and Minister at the President’s Office, Hon. Abdulla Ameen.
