President Mohamed Nasheed has today met with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert O. Blake. The meeting was held Thursday afternoon at the President’s Office.
Discussions at the meeting were on current political situation in the Maldives and ways to resolve a political deadlock.
During his visit, Assistant Secretary Blake will meet government officials, opposition parties, civil society representatives, anti-trafficking activists, and religious leaders.
