President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has today met with the Commissioner of Police Hussain Waheed. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, the President congratulated Commissioner Hussain Waheed on his appointment. The President and the Police Commissioner discussed ways to further improve the Police institute.
Prior to the meeting, the President presented the letter of appointment to the Police Commissioner.
Vice President Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed and Minister of Home Affairs Umar Naseer also attended the meeting.
