Dr Ahmed Jamsheed Mohamed has resigned from his position as the Minister of Health.
In the letter sent to Dr Jamsheed following his resignation, President Dr Mohamed Waheed thanked him for his valuable services during his tenure as the Health Minister towards the development of the health sector.
President Waheed has appointed Minister of Gender, Family and Human Rights, Dr Aamal Ali, as the Acting Minister of Health.
