Commonwealth Secretary General’s Special Envoy Sir Donald McKinnon has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed.
At the meeting held this morning at the President’s Office, discussions were focused on the issues regarding this year’s presidential elections.
President Waheed expressed hopes of a credible and successful election this November. He further assured that the government would provide any assistance and support required by the Elections Commission.
