President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today presented certificates to some players and officials of the National football team who won the SAFF Championship 2008. The certificates were presented at a ceremony held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
At today’s function, awards and certificates were presented to players and officials who could not attend the award giving ceremony held on July 26 of this year as they were on a training camp held in Thailand.
President also presented certificates to the following players:
- Imran Mohamed
- Mohamed Sifan
- Mohamed Arif
- Akram Abdul Ghanee
Certificates were also presented to the following officials:
- Ahmed Shakeeb
- Hassan Nizar Ahmed
