Foundation stone laid for 300 housing units for MNDF officers

President Dr Mohamed Waheed has laid the foundation stone for 300 housing units in Hulhumale.

Speaking at the ceremony, the President noted that the greatest responsibility of protecting the country’s independence and sovereignty was on MNDF officers. He, therefore, expressed his profound gratitude to all MNDF officers and their families for their sacrifices.

In his speech, the President underlined the recent recommencement of MNDF housing project, saying that the government gave very high priority to provide a better life to all MNDF families.

The housing units will be constructed under the MNDF housing project.
