President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today awarded, the President’s Badge – the Highest National Award for Maldivian Guides, to three girl guides.
The recipients of the badges are Mariyam Rimsha Suhail of Hiriya School, Firasha Mohamed and Reem Zahir of Aminiya School.
At the ceremony held at the President’s Office, the President congratulated the awardees on achieving this honour and praised their commendable work done as girl guides. President further said that it gives him great honour to handover the badges.
