President Mohamed Nasheed has reconstituted the Presidential Commission following the resignation of Mr Ali Shiyam, Uz Idham Muiz Adnan, and Uza Shabaab Rasheed from the Commission.
The Presidential Commission was established by the Presidential Decree number 16/2009 on 16 May 2009 to investigate the alleged embezzlement of state funds and resources.
Members appointed to the Presidential Commission reconstituted by the Presidential Decree number 6/2010 issued today are as follows.
1. Mr Sarangu Adam Manik
2. Sh Hussain Rasheed Ahmed
3. Mr Mohamed Aswan
4. Uz Abdulla Haseen
The Commission will be chaired by Mr Sarangu Adam Manik and Sh Hussain Rasheed Ahmed.
