Special Envoy of the President Mr Ibrahim Hussain Zaki has today met with Dr Zakir Naik on behalf of President Mohamed Nasheed. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr Ibrahim Hussain Zaki conveyed greetings and good wishes of President Nasheed to Dr Naik.
Dr Naik expressed pleasure to be in the Maldives and briefed on the work of International Islamic Research Foundation, which is headed by Dr Naik.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Abdul Majeed Abdul Baree.
