Philippine Ambassador to the Maldives Ms. Zenaida Tacordo Rabago has paid her farewell call on President Mohamed Nasheed today.
During the call, which took place at the President's Office this afternoon, the President expressed his appreciation for the Ambassador's contribution to strengthen the friendly ties that exist between the Maldives and Philippines.
The President and the Ambassador also discussed enhancing the already excellent bilateral and other issues of mutual concern such as climate change
The farewell call was attended by Special Envoy of President Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, Advisor on Political Affairs Hassan Afeef and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed Shaheed.
