President Nasheed has returned to Male’ this evening, after concluding his visit to Hadhdhunmathi Atoll.
In his visit, the President toured the Red Cross site at Hadhdhunmathi Gan and inspected the housing units being built in the site. He also visited Gan Regional Hospital and inquired about the well-being of the patients. The President visited the Hadhdhunmathi Maandhoo Fisheries Complex and inspected its operations.
During the visit, President Nasheed inaugurated the workshop on decentralization focused on South-Central Province. He also visited Maavah and Isdhoo-Kalaidhoo and met with the people of the two islands.
