President Mohamed Nasheed has this afternoon returned to Malé after his visit to Malaysia to attend the 6th World Islamic Economic Forum.
During the visit, in addition to addressing the Forum, President Nasheed met with leaders of other Islamic countries attending the three-day Forum held in Kuala Lumpur.
Leaders he met include the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Sultan of Brunei and the President of Kosovo.
The President also met with Malaysian businesses and informed them on the investment opportunities in the Maldives.
Before concluding the visit, the President met with some Maldivian students studying in Malaysia and visited the Maldives High Commission in Malaysia.
