President meets with the Prime Minister of Nepal

President Mohamed Nasheed has met with the Prime Minister of Nepal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, during his transit in Doha on his way back from New York.

Discussions were focused on strengthening the bilateral relations and cooperation between Nepal and the Maldives, including, especially, the tourism sector.

Prime Mnister of Nepal and the President were travelling back from New York after participating in the 64th session of UN General Assembly.

President Nasheed will make a stopover in Sri Lanka before returning the Maldives.
