On Tuesday, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and his Cabinet Ministers discussed the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, following the recent spike in the number of positive cases. At the meeting held virtually, deliberations were held on the government’s measures to further curb the virus’s spread.
Speaking with the Cabinet, President Solih urged them to ensure their respective offices and agencies strictly adhere to the new steps introduced to control the increase of cases. The Cabinet also deliberated on ways to ensure the uninterrupted provision of essential services through the steps.
