Vice President Faisal Naseem has this evening departed on an official two-day trip to North Huvadhu (Gaafu Alifu) Atoll.
During the visit, the Vice President is scheduled to attend a special ceremony held tonight in Gaafu Alifu atoll Villingili Island, to commemorate the National Unity Day. Tomorrow, he will participate in a function held to inaugurate Community Rehabilitation Services and the launching ceremony of neighbourhood policing in North Huvadhu Atoll.
Vice President Faisal Naseem is also scheduled to meet the North Huvadhu Atoll Council and the members of Villingili Island Council tomorrow. Prior to concluding his visit, he will tour the Atoll hospital at Villingili Island and hold discussions with the hospital management regarding improvements to the health sector in North Huvadhu Atoll.
The Vice President is expected to conclude his visit and return to Malé City on Monday evening.
