President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has sent a message of condolence to the King of Saudi Arabia, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud upon the demise of His Highness Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The President’s message reads as follows:
“It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing away of His Highness Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. Prince Bandar’s dedication to the progress of Saudi Arabia and his invaluable services to the Saudi Kingdom will always be remembered.
At this time of profound grief and personal bereavement, the Government and people of the Maldives join me in extending our heartfelt condolences to Your Majesty and the members of your esteemed family.
We pray to Almighty Allah for His eternal blessings on the soul of the dear departed and to grant you and the members of your family the fortitude and strength to bear this great personal loss.
Surely to Allah, we belong and surely to Him we shall return.”
