President declares 7th April as a Government holiday

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has declared Sunday, 7th April 2019 as a government holiday following the Parliamentary election being held today.

On the directive issued by the President’s Office, it stated that the decision was made as a high number of government employees and the public are involved in conducting the ongoing Parliamentary election.
