President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has made eight appointments at the level of Deputy Minister.

The appointments made are as follows:

1.    Asad Riza, as Deputy Minister of Tourism: With a Masters in Hospitality and Tourism, he has had numerous years of experience in the field of tourism in the Maldives. 
2.    Fathimath Shaheedha, as Deputy Minister of Communication, Science and Technology: She has attained Bachelor of Information and Technology.
3.    Abdulla Anees as Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment: He has previously worked at several business companies.
4.    Ahmed Ziyaan Abdul Rahmaan as Deputy Minister of Environment: He has attained National Diploma in Hotel Catering and Institutional Operations. 
5.    Ahmed Ibrahim as Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment: He has previously served as the Executive Coordinator at Ministry of Youth and Sports, and as a former member of the National Sports Council.
6.    Waleedha Waleedh as Deputy Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage: She has contributed to the Maldivian entertainment industry for a long period of time.
7.    Nishama Mohamed as Deputy Minister of Health: She has previously served in the Maldivian health sector.
8.    Ali Samin as Deputy Minister of Housing and Urban Development: He has attained Bachelor of Arts, and previously served in the field of journalism for a long period of time.
