President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the Hulhudhuffaaru Island Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) and discussed the developmental needs of the island community. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of Un'goofaaru Island Council.
At the meeting, Council Members expressed several issues and needs, including resolving the concerns of coastal erosion and road construction, and seeking Gaaun'doodhoo Island under its purview for economic benefits. Council members also raised concerns regarding the delay of the new classroom extension building for the school and the need for social development.
The President and his Cabinet members present at the meeting clarified more details relevant to the concerns raised.
