President Dr Mohamed Muizzu arrived back in Malé after concluding a six-day visit to the islands of Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu, Shaviyani and Noonu Atolls.
On this tour, the President met with all local councils and the Women's Development Committees (WDCs) from Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu, Shaviyani Atolls, and all councils in Noonu except for one council.
In a previous trip to the southernmost atolls of the Maldives, the President met with all local councils in Addu, Fuvahmulah, and Thinadhoo Cities, and in Thaa and Gaafu Dhaalu Atolls, as well as all councils in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, except for two councils.
The President has initiated meetings with all councils within a short period, aiming to foster close collaboration with the public. The President's aim is to visit every island in the country at least twice within five years.
A high-level Government delegation accompanied the President during his tour.
