President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the N. Ken'dhikulhudhoo Council members. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Ken'dhikulhudhoo Council.

The meeting's deliberations centred on the most critical developmental initiatives for the island, with particular emphasis on expediting developmental initiatives. Council Members stressed the need for shore protection, a housing project, road development, and the continuation of the junior college development project. They also requested for the Government's cooperation, particularly in promoting sports tourism, and establishing a waste management system on the island. Further, members reiterated the fishing community's concerns over payment delays.

During the meeting, members of the Women's Development Committee underlined budget constraints as one of their key challenges.
