President Dr Mohamed Muizzu announced an endeavour to advance the North Miladhunmadulu Atoll Hospital to a top-grade hospital in all aspects. He made the remarks while addressing the residents of Sh. Funadhoo Island today.
In his remarks, the President conveyed his gratitude to the people of Funadhoo for their warm welcome upon his arrival yesterday.
The President underscored the enhancement of Funadhoo Hospital's service and infrastructure quality as the primary priority. He further deliberated on the planned measures to develop the Funadhoo Airport. These measures include expanding the runway, improving airport services, and increasing the number of flights.
During his speech, President Dr Muizzu emphasised the importance of utilising suitable islands to boost atoll tourism. In regards to the island's ongoing population consolidation, he spoke about plans to initiate a land reclamation project at Sh. Funadhoo.
