The Cabinet ratified SAARC Framework Agreement for Energy Cooperation (Electricity) upon the advisement of the Attorney General. The Cabinet decision came to the following discussion, at today’s meeting.
This agreement will facilitate the Maldives to get assistance for renewable energy projects. Additionally, this agreement will allow the Maldives to gain Technical and Technological advancement as of other SAARC Member States.
