President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Ahmed Nasir as the Chief Executive Officer at Maldives Polytechnic. He was appointed at the level of Deputy Minister.
Ahmed Nasir has considerably contributed in the training and education sector of the Maldives. In this regard Ahmed Nasir played a key role in the establishment of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management in Villa College and in the establishment of Maldives Media Institute.
He has previously served at the post of Assessor at TVET Authority, filled the post of council member at TVET Authority and taught as a part-time lecturer at Villa College, Training Maldives, Maldives Institute for Technology, Mandhu College and also as a part-time Trainer at the Civil Service Training Institute.
Ahmed Nasir completed Masters of Business Administration from Open University of Malaysia.
