President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met with members of the Dhuvaafaru Island Council and Un’goofaaru Island Council, as part of his visit to Dhuvaafaru Island today.
At separate meetings, members of the councils briefed the President on the work being undertaken by the island councils, and future plans of the councils for the development of the respective islands.
The President also enquired from the council members on the challenges being faced by the council, and the difficulties faced by the island communities.
