The Cabinet has today advised President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom to reconsider devolution of selected plots of land in the capital to the Male’ City Council. Highlighting the Government’s manifesto and associated developments envisioned for Greater Male’, Ministers identified these locations for key socioeconomic developments in the time ahead. The Cabinet decision followed extensive deliberation on a white paper presented by the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure.
