President ratifies the Right to Information Act, the Social Protection Act, and the Third Amendment to “Maldives Employment Act”

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has today ratified the Right to Information Act, the Social Protection Act, and the Third Amendment to “Maldives Employment Act”.

The Right to Information Act was passed by the Parliament at the 22nd sitting of its third session, on 29th December 2013. The Social Protection Act and the Third Amendment to “Maldives Employment Act” were passed by the Parliament at the 23rd sitting of its third session, on 30th December 2013.

The Acts have been published in the Government Gazette following ratification.
