President makes Senior Appointments

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed four Senior Officials of the Government.

The appointed officials are:

1. Dr Mohamed Ali as the Minister of State for Islamic Affairs. He previously served as the Controller of Immigration and Emigration.

2. Uz Hassan Ali as the Controller of Immigration and Emigration. The appointment was made at the level of State Minister.

3. Mr Abdullahi Majeed as the Minister of State for Environment and Energy. He previously served as the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy.

4. Uza Aishath Bisam as the Legal Affairs Secretary at the President’s Office. The appointment was made at the level of State Minister.
