Ambassador of Russia accredited to the Maldives Alexander Karchava has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, discussions were held on the close bilateral relations that exist between the two countries and ways to further strengthen ties.
Further, the President briefed the Ambassador on the current political situation in the Maldives.
