President Dr Mohamed Waheed has upgraded the position of the Chairman of Transport Authority to the rank of State Minister. In this regard, Mr Abdul Rasheed Nafiz who is the current Chairman of Transport Authority has been promoted to the rank of State Minister. He was previously in the rank of Deputy Minister.
