Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, late Dr Abdul Samad Abdulla has been laid to rest. The funeral took place at 1400 hours at the Chua Chu Kang Cemetery in Singapore.
The funeral was attended by Vice President Mohamed Waheed Deen, widow of the late Dr Abdul Samad, Ms Ameena Ali, his children, family, the members, and the Maldivian Ambassador accredited to Singapore Mohamed Khaleel. A large number of Maldivians residing in Singapore also attended the funeral.
