The Honorary Consul of Maldives in Lebanon pays a courtesy call on the President

The Honorary Consul of Maldives in Lebanon, Mr Mohamad Hussain Fakih has paid a courtesy call on President Nasheed. The call was held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
Speaking at the meeting, the President noted that close bilateral relations existed between the Maldives and Lebanon and expressed confidence that this relations would continue to strengthen during his tenure.
Mr Fakih congratulated President Nasheed for having won the first multi-party elections in the Maldives and wished him success for his reform efforts.
